Every week, once a week I’ll be posting some cartoons and otherwise humorous anecdotes on Jehovah’s Witnesses and organized religion in general. Enjoy…
How many Jehovah’s Witnesses does it take to change a light bulb?
Twelve. They all live in Brooklyn, and they have to keep changing it every day for “new light.”
Three. One to screw in the bulb, and two to knock on your door and ask you if you’ve seen the light!
Heaven
Heaven is manifested as a huge skyscraper, and Gabriel is the elevator-operator. As each new entrant …

“Maria and Jose Azevedo had to choose: allow their baby to die a preventable death or save him while acting against their religion. The doctor who helped guide them shares their story.”
For Jose and Maria Azevedo, their beliefs left them little choice as they agonized over one of their children’s health. (Photo by Tanit Sakakini)
ALTHOUGH MARIA and Jose Azevedo didn’t know it back then - after all, they were children who lived on separate continents - their lives would be both …

Is Jesus Michael the Archangel? Did He Return in 1914? Or is The Watchtower Society a Tower of Deception?
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 26 /Christian Newswire/ — Author Louis Ruggiero, a renowned apologetic writer who has defended the Christian Faith against rabbis, Jehovah’s Witnesses and Full Preterists has released another book in defense of mainstream Christianity. The Tower of Deception is his response to the Watchtower’s invitation for “careful and critical examination of its contents in the light of the Scriptures” (Watchtower 8/15/1950, p. 263). The author has dialogued with the Witnesses …

Blood and Belief
As a one-time Jehovah’s Witness I never questioned the Watchtower Society’s firm stance on Blood. I took it as the God-inspired direction that came through the conduit of the Governing Body. As a Witness, no one dares to question direction from the Governing Body, since doing so would be questioning the word of God himself. What’s more, it would show your ’spiritual weakness’ and at worst you may be deemed to be working against God’s Holy Spirit - the most serious unforgivable sin. The thing most Witnesses do, …

This hour long video produced by ‘Jerimiah Films’ can be found on Google.
The producer captions this video by rightly saying that it “exposes the truth about the Watchtower Bible and and Tract Society also known as Jehovah’s Witnesses.”
Needless to say I found it to be a very interesting and intriguing presentation. It digs deep back into the history of the founder of the Watchtower Society and its other early presidents. Specifically it focuses on the numerous failed prophesies that the Organization has made in the last century. It is interesting …

This just in from a senior member at JWD Forum:
I couldn’t help but get a kick out of it. I lived in fear of that word for too long and now it is a tribute to time and a lot of support over the years that I can actually post this and laugh about it!
Many thanks to the creator (of the image).

Rational Explanations of Evolutionary Biology explained in a succinct and easy to understand manner. I have never written a book review before, but the God Delusion is one work that helped to liberate my thoughts further still from the cult-like teaching mechanisms of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Even after nine years of being disfellowshipped, this book was a catalyst to a newer freedom . It struck such a cord with me and I feel that the last vestments of guilt and doubt have been stripped away. Just to prove to you …

I recently came across this publisher on YouTube:
‘Watchtower Comments’ Profile on YouTube.com
and was really impressed by the content of his videos. ‘WTcomments’ addresses a number of controversial subjects relating to Jehovah’s Witnesses while for the most part allowing the Watchtower Society to speak for themselves. Please enjoy his series of videos, I’ve posted his first here, and I encourage you to visit his channel on YouTube to view the others.

Let’s start off by listing some key arguments that Jehovah’s Witnesses use to ‘prove’ the validity of their claim as the only true religion. We will then discuss each one systematically.
God’s servants base their teachings on the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13)
Those who practice the true religion worship only Jehovah and make his name known (Matthew 4:10, John 17:6)
God’s people show genuine, unselfish love for one another (John 13:35)
True Christians accept Jesus Christ as God’s means of salvation (Acts 4:12)
True worshipers are no part of the world (John …
