I feel your pain.this great God who has chosen to let us humans call him by his name and the fact that we are still alive is awesome. We call him Jehovah in english. The Jews called him Yahweh or Yehovah or the pronunciation would begin with letter Y. The Israelites knew the wrath of God. I do not believe there are any ex believers in Jehovah. your journey has just begun. The reason that I say this is because God has always been and always will be. He said of himself that I AM meaning he always present. He has given us the priviledge of calling him Father. In this world we need as never before to seek our Father, Not to hide so to speak but shine for him in this darken world. He is our Creator He is Holy. Her is Pure, so Pure that no man have ever nor never will see him. Please do fear, but move on to higher level that The Father have set up for all mankind. In the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess that he is Lord to the glory of God. Forgive move forward, God will reveal him self to all of those who are willing and seeking. I love you God Love you and let everything that have breathe praise God for what he is doing through his Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen

i read comments from jason above,telling watchtower witnesses,to enjoy gehenna..does he think thats christian to talk like that..could we honestly imagine jesus saying that to anyone.i think not..how can he call himself a christian and keep a straight face..once again.UNBELEIVABLE.

hello anna..i will never hate people like that..what right do they have,to teach people to hate,when jesus said to love your neighbour,not just the ones that believe in him,but all people.i would never ever shun my family members like that.i don’t think i would make a very good watchtower witness.i love my family and people too much,to become a hate filled human being..i have heard a lot of things from so called christian witnesses,that make my stomach turn.its strange,but theres a inner voice inside me saying,do not follow…the bible says to make sure of all things,and question everything,to make sure its truth..i have noticed if they do that they are disfellowshiped.then labelled apostates,for doing what jesus told them to do.unbelievable…

linda, the organization itself is very clear on the matter. if you are not a jw you are worldly (us vs. them attitude. which is one defining characteristic of a cult) if you were a jw and now not you are an apostate (diseased mind,(their own words) demon possessed follower of Satan whose sole purpose in life is to corrupt witnesses). it is your godly duty to HATE the world and those in it. you are to turn your back so that you will remain pure unsoiled by worldly ways so you may attain Valhalla. oops everlasting life.
so for a witness what you see as evil and cruel to them is helping them attain everlasting life.
that is the basic principal for shunning family members who dare question.

i commented here last year.i am still studying with a witness,not the one i had last year.she was cruel hearted,referring to people in the world as rats n their children also,that will be exterminated.there is some good people in this religion,but some evil ones too..i just don’t know what to do,she really disturbed me,why do they allow those type of people to remain,and call themselves jehovas witnesses…

Seriously is this the best you all have…lol..I am an ex witness and this is pathetic…people commit suicide everyday..how about the people that were about to kill themselves and just before they did a witness knocked on the door. Remember that the bible says that there will be ones that fall from god and they will speak against god…amazing how true this seems to be..and that is in all bibles.

What a sick story, my little sister was molested by my grandfather who was a devote jw until the day he died! When my sister grew up she finally told the family what a monster my grandfather was but the jw’s did nothing to him. They said he is an old man leave him alone! He died in good standing with the religion!! Pretty sad

I just came across this post while surfing the web. Let me tell you a little story about Jehovas witnesses. My mom and stepdad became jehovas witnesses long after I moved out of the house. Thank God for that one. Their group taught them that people outside of the JW faith are “worldly” and you shouldnt have anything to do with them. So I got booted from my moms and my little sisters lives. My mom does occasionally sneak in a call every now and then, because she says that she believes I will make it to paradise earth anyway because I have a really good heart. Well years down the line my little sister escaped the clutches of my step dad and was terrified to come near me because he told her that my husband and I would do perverted things to her since we were “worldly”. She did however go to another family members house (not a Jehovas witness.) and since then helped our other little sister escape. My sister went to the kingdom hall and told the elders that she did move from her mom and dads house because her and her sister were being abused and tormented since they were young children. Guess what happend to my sister? She got disfellowshipped. My sisters were isolated and made to fear that if they told, God would hate them and they would not have everlasting life. Well I guess my step dad was right. My sister was disfellowshipped because according to their kingdom hall she was going against her parents and her faith. They actually tried to urge her to go home! You might ask what happend to their abusers. Well the last time I talked to my mom was about 2 years ago and guess what they are still Jehovas Witnesses. In fact according to my mother my step dad is going to be made an Elder.
