- the watchtower spares no oppurtunity to attack other religions, the non-religious, and any philosophy that disagrees with it’s (flavor of the moment) “truth”.
they dish it out, but they can’t take it.

- we HAVE “moved on” in the sense that we are out of it- we are free thinking and we aim to help others find thier way. personally, i was so afraid of the society that i needed the research and accumulation of facts to have the courage to leave. now i’m a completely different and better person. being free of this LIE demands we lend sympathy and support to others still finding thier way. it’s the least we can do after years of trying to recruit people into this HOAX.

- finally, your assumption that we are looking for a consequence free, unaccountable lifestyle, the idea that we left to seek sin without a lecture, the idea that all former jw’s are so petty…

it’s insulting, inaccurate and you embarass yourself with the suggestion.
SOME jw’s leave and do engage in ill-advised behavior and suffer for it.
a) this does not mean your religion is “truth”, it means that self destructive behavior is bad for you, regardless of your parent’s church
b) most of these who do “rebel and sin” become “cautionary tales” explotied by the watchtower and paraded around at conventions and assemblies. creating a false impression that theres ONLY a column A: “truth” and column B: “sin/suffering”.

i know several ELDERS who are examples of being selfish dimwits who, after drugs and paternity suits suddenly “found god” when the going got tough.

we are not impressed.

there is a better way: a rational self-interest and genuine compassion.

besides, as a jw apologist, you’re not even supposed to be here anyway-
which congregation do you attend? perhaps we should tell the elders you’re associating with apostates…

good stuff. being an “apostate” is a badge of honor. there is no shame in refusing to participate in a hoax.

i honestly don’t know how i’ve dodged “disfellowshipping” for these last 7plus years.
theres actually many jay-dubs i went to the kingdom hall with that are friendly to me. go figure.

but, they believe in things that are quite easily proven to be absolute falshoods.
the “apostates” arent the ones with something to hide.

I know that this information would fall on deaf ears though as even reading or casting their eyes on this page would have them racked with fear the devil himself will be jumping out from the page to collect them! To be seriously that afraid of Satan and that committed to the written word of men, is insane. To know that they cannot reach out of that for fear of death, is even more insane.

The web this organisation weaves to keep those within it’s walls is tight. And I like your question, WHY? Why do they need to tie you in so tightly wound you are afraid to even glance upon such apostate material, talk to an apostate or even examine with an apostate.

I was never baptised (thankfully) but was denied study because I kept wanting to question the things being taught to me. I was told the study was a precious resource that would be reserved for those who might actually progress and move forward from ongoing questioning! Ok, so apparently Jehovah didn’t want me - despite my trying to hold on with my nails.

I am deeply hurt but forever grateful. What a strange way to feel. Only an JW, raised as a child in the truth can understand a mixed up, confused feeling like this.

I am grateful there are so many others who share almost identical feelings. Amazing how we get out of this cookie-cutter religion with cookie-cutter damage! There’s something in that.

How many more people have to continue not speaking to their family and friends because they are labeled an apostates based upon what an organization of men say or tell you ?

As long as I’m living on this earth….I will continue speaking out against the injustices of the Watchtower and Tract Society !!

I will continue being a pest and a thorn at their side !!

The organization can call me an apostate all they want….I wont bend and every chance I get…I WILL STAND UP TO THEM AND SPEAK TRUTH !!
